The COST action 18103 INNOGLY and 18132 GLYCONanoPROBES is jointly organising a scientific networking opportunity for young researchers to exchange their current research and ideas. The organizing committee have planned the upcoming event International Young Researchers Meeting 2023 – Sour turned Sweet: Glycans bridging technology & precision medicine proposed to be held on April 20-21 2023 in Iasi (Romania). To realize this event we are looking for young researchers (PhD candidates and early career investigators up to 8 years post-PhD) who are willing to present and discuss their research on a wide range of topics related to glycan biology, chemistry, immunology, personalized medicine, imaging, therapy, or technology. This event aims to promote and strengthen communication and the collaboration of future projects between young researchers.
Therefore, we encourage you to propose an applicant that fits the criteria and express interest on the Google form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfQEEik-hmwrg7hVpEB_YiyKIRIedBZ-bXi6ZL1bU1ppn_NDQ/viewform) by filling the requested information as soon as possible, since the number is limited to almost 20 participants eligible for reimbursement and shall be based upon the principle of first come-first served.
Applicants must be affiliated to a COST country or specific organisation involved in GLYCONanoPROBES action in order to claim reimbursement of the mission costs according with the COST Annotated Rules (https://www.cost.eu/uploads/2021/07/COST-088-21-Level-A-Rules-and-Principles-for-COST-Activities.pdf).
